  • Redis Handler: GoldenGate for Big Data now supports real-time data replication to Redis. Redis is an in-memory data structure store, used as a distributed, in-memory key–value database, cache and message broker, with optional durability.   • Datastax Capture: GoldenGate for Big Data now supports real-time data now supports real-time change data capture from Datastax. Messages captured from Datastax can be replicated to any GoldenGate supported target. You can refer to GoldenGate for Big Data Documentation for more details.

 Improvements:

  • Support multiple sources in a single deployment: GoldenGate for Big Data supports change data capture from Kafka Platforms, MongoDB, Cassandra and now with 21.8, from Datastax. Before 21.8, a single GoldenGate for Big Data deployment was able to capture chnaged data from a single source technology. With 21.8, you can configure extracts to capture from multiple technologies in a single GoldenGate for Big Data deployment.  
  • INSERTALLRECORDS support for BigQuery: INSERTALLRECORDS parameter improves the initial load performance by directing the Replicat process to use bulk insert operations to load operation data into the target table. INSERTALLRECORDS was made available for Autonomous Data Warehouse, Snowflake, Azure Synapse and Red Shift in the previous releases. INSERTALLRECORDS is now available for Google Big Query. 
  • Snowflake Initial Load Performance Improvements: GoldenGate for Big Data now uses COPY SQL statement to insert records into the target table. This improves the initial load performance by improving the throughput.
