We are excited to announce the availability of Oracle GoldenGate for Distributed Applications and Analytics (GoldenGate for DAA) 26.3.

Building on the capabilities introduced with GoldenGate for DAA 26ai, this release expands connectivity across distributed applications, streaming platforms, search, and data lakehouse environments while simplifying how users configure and secure their GoldenGate deployments.

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 introduces native integrations with Apache Pulsar and OCI Search, a new guided experience for configuring connections, expanded Apache Iceberg capabilities, and several new platform certifications and security enhancements.

New Connections user experience

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 introduces a new Connections experience in the GoldenGate Microservices Architecture Web UI.

The guided interface makes it easier to create and manage source and target connections and then use those connections when configuring Extract and Replicat processes. Instead of repeatedly specifying connection information as part of individual replication configurations, users can create and manage connections through a centralized experience.

Connection credentials are securely stored in the GoldenGate credential store, providing a more secure approach to credential management while simplifying configuration and administration.

The new experience helps customers with:

  • Configure source and target connections through a guided user interface.
  • Test connections before using them in replication processes.
  • Reuse configured connections with Extract and Replicat.
  • Centrally manage connection information.
  • Securely store credentials in the GoldenGate credential store.

New source and target technologies

Apache Pulsar

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 introduces native support for Apache Pulsar as a replication target. A new dedicated Pulsar handler uses the native Pulsar client to deliver real-time change data directly to Pulsar, eliminating the need for the previously used Kafka compatibility approach and simplifying Pulsar-based streaming architectures.

For customers adopting Pulsar as their enterprise messaging and streaming platform, native connectivity simplifies the replication architecture and provides a purpose-built GoldenGate integration for Pulsar.

OCI Search with OpenSearch

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 introduces a new native handler for enabling real-time delivery of data captured by Oracle GoldenGate directly into OCI Search.

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 introduces native integration with OCI Search with OpenSearch, enabling real-time change data delivery directly to OCI Search. By eliminating intermediate components , customers can simplify their data pipelines while reducing infrastructure costs, operational complexity, latency, and potential points of failure.

Apache Iceberg enhancements

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 continues to expand its support for open data lakehouse architectures with new Apache Iceberg capabilities.

  • Oracle AI Data Catalog support: This release adds support for Oracle AI Data Catalog , expanding the catalog options available when building OCI-based open lakehouse architectures with GoldenGate.
  • Microsoft Entra ID authentication for Iceberg on Azure Storage: GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 adds Microsoft Entra ID authentication for Apache Iceberg deployments using Azure Storage, providing customers with an identity-based authentication option for Azure environments.

New Certifications

GoldenGate for DAA 26.3 expands support for several technologies across distributed databases, search, data platforms, and caching environments:

  • DataStax Enterprise 6.8.59 is certified for Cassandra capture.
  • Elasticsearch 9.x is certified for GoldenGate handler delivery.
  • MongoDB 8.2 is certified as a replication target.
  • Cloudera Data Platform 7.3.2 is certified with GoldenGate for DAA.
  • Kerberos authentication for MongoDB is certified for both capture and delivery.
  • Redis 8.0 is certified with GoldenGate for DAA.
