Customers can now run Oracle AI Database services close to their applications and AI tools across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and OCI, supported by Oracle and an experienced partner ecosystem. The footprint is expanding: 22 live AWS Regions, 16 live Google Cloud regions, and 33 live Microsoft Azure regions as of October 2026. More locations give customers greater choice for data residency and business continuity; individual service availability varies by region.
The business case for migration goes beyond moving databases: it is an opportunity to put the critical data that runs your business to work for AI. Oracle AI Database multicloud deployments bring the business data already in your Oracle databases closer to the AI tools and agents your teams want to use, which can help reduce integration effort and support new AI-powered workflows.
Protecting that data is part of the same business case. Oracle AI Database multicloud services offer encryption and access controls, Oracle-managed infrastructure patching, and high-availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Together, these capabilities can help organizations strengthen data protection and operational resilience as they expand their use of AI. Work with a partner from discovery through modernization
A successful migration starts with a shared understanding of your database estate and continues after cutover. Oracle and qualified partners can help you connect each stage to a clear deliverable, accountable owners, and defined success measures.

Discover: Map databases, applications, owners, and dependencies. Partners help define the scope and identify suitable migration candidates, including workloads with a near-term business need.
Assess: Validate technical readiness, security requirements, recovery objectives, and the business case. Partners help select the target cloud and services, confirm eligible funding, and build a phased execution plan.
Migrate: Prepare the target environment, rehearse the move, and validate application performance. Partners coordinate tooling, data synchronization, cutover, and rollback planning with your teams and Oracle.
Optimize: Tune capacity and cost, test recovery, and establish monitoring and governance practices. Partners help your teams build the skills and operating practices needed to manage security controls and operational efficiency in the new environment.
Modernize: Explore opportunities to derive business value from cloud capabilities. Partners can help build search, service, and operational workflows using Oracle AI Vector Search, Oracle Private Agent Factory and Oracle Select AI Agent, with appropriate data permissions, approval controls, and success measures established by the customer.
Partners are helping customers put cloud migration and modernization plans into practice
- AWS: Kobalt Music moved its Oracle databases closer to AWS applications with migration support from Version 1.
- Azure: SEFE chose Oracle Database@Azure for an estate of 39 databases supporting 13 critical applications. SEFE reported that its core-workload migration delivered 20% better application and database performance and 20–45% better business-process performance. Accenture and Avanade supported its pilot and migration approach.
- Google Cloud: Worldline is migrating about 200 microservices and a 100-terabyte reporting database, with Devoteam providing architecture and cloud engineering support.
- OCI: Liberty Energy worked with Peloton to unify finance, workforce and operations data on OCI.
Put available tools and funding to work
Start with Oracle Estate Explorer, a no-cost tool that catalogs database metadata, evaluates readiness for Oracle Autonomous AI Database and Oracle Exadata, and models costs to help evaluate a migration to AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or OCI. Partners can interpret its findings, assess application dependencies, and prioritize migration waves. Oracle Zero Downtime Migration 26.1, released in April, currently provides migration automation at no additional cost that can help reduce manual effort and downtime.
Oracle offers practical ways to reduce the cost and effort of moving to cloud:
- Oracle Migration Accelerator and the Oracle AI Database Strategic Workload Implementation Services Promotion may help offset eligible partner-delivered migration services;
- Oracle Cloud Lift Services provides engineering assistance for eligible OCI migrations at no additional cost;
- OCI Database Migration is available at no additional cost for six months;
- Eligible Oracle licenses can be reused, subject to applicable licensing terms.
Oracle and your migration partner can help identify the benefits available for your workload and chosen cloud, including applicable hyperscaler migration programs, and confirm eligibility before work begins.
Oracle’s expanded partner support may also help fund eligible assessments and equips eligible partners with tooling to build migration plans around operational data. For customers, this can help reduce uncertainty before committing to a migration.
Finally, Oracle Multicloud Universal Credits can simplify purchasing eligible services across OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud through a new shared commitment. Oracle can help determine the appropriate purchasing model for your estate.
