The document examines the limitations specific to most major database management systems that compel developers to make compromises. The white paper includes Oracle Autonomous Database and shows the range of options available to developers when defining their data and building their applications while illustrates how Oracle Autonomous Database relieves developers of the need to configure and tune the database and how it supports modern application development for the cloud. It also describes the experiences of two organizations that developed applications using Oracle Autonomous Database.
