Recently, Gartner Research Director, Adam Ronthal, and Oracle EVP of Systems Technology, Juan Loaiza, spoke in a webcast on the impact that the Autonomous Database is having on the IT landscape, specifically how intelligent, autonomous technologies are revolutionizing the database management landscape.
The webcast touched on two core methodologies cloud vendors use and what impact that could have to the cost and effort to implement a cloud solution. It also covers how customers should evaluate “spending” on cloud services and how they should understand the true cost of implementing cloud services.
