Understanding Oracle Alloy
As companies look to continually transform their business models and operations to better suit the needs of their customers, many are evaluating the option of becoming a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) themselves. These enterprises want the ability to control their own cloud environment, set their own pricing, and deliver positive outcomes for their end customers, who have been their trusted partner for decades. Oracle Alloy is the only hyperscaler-provided option which enables customers to operate and resell a ready-made cloud platform, with the same catalog of services in the commercial cloud, themselves. Uniquely positioned in the market, Alloy enables enterprises to partner with us, becoming a CSP which manages the customer experience from start to finish by reselling Oracle Cloud in regions specific to their needs.
Key Existing Features
Cloud Reselling: Oracle Alloy enables partners to resell Oracle cloud services in a seamless and efficient manner. Partners can brand, package and customize cloud solutions, providing tailored offerings to their customers.
Marketplace and Ecosystem: Alloy can serve as a vibrant marketplace, connecting customers with a wide range of cloud services and solutions. Partners can showcase their expertise and specialized offerings, making it easier for customers to find and adopt cloud technologies.
Simplified Management: Oracle Alloy provides a unified platform and a well-defined software stack to manage the lifecycle of their cloud reselling business to their partners. This includes customer onboarding, billing, pricing and customer support; streamlining the entire acquisition and deployment process.
Let’s Talk New Features!
Multi-National Support: Oracle Alloy partners are global, serving customers in different geographies and using different currencies and languages when doing business together. Our release of multi-national support enables our Alloy partners to offer both multiple currencies and languages in their realms. This means that operators can create pricelists and provide offers in different currencies to serve customers in different geographies (ex: USD and Yen). They also have the flexibility to create pricelists with different price points in the same currency to address various customer segments. We support both English and Japanese, with more languages planned for support in the near future.

These capabilities will reduce financial friction by allowing transactions in localized currency whilst also increasing adoption and enagement through the support of additional languages with Oracle Alloy.
Streamlined Renewals: Our Alloy partners asked for an easier way to renew a subscription; providing an option to either extend the subscription before it expires; or to add more funds to an existing contract. Using the Fusion order management UX, the alloy partner can now easily add credits and extend the end dates of their customer’s subscription. In case the customer subscription is not renewed before it expires, the subscription is auto-converted to an evergreen PAYGO subscription. A PAYGO subscription can be converted to Commit anytime using the extension workflow.

What to Expect
- Increased customer base: With multi-currency and language support, Alloy partners can serve customers in multiple regions, growing their business organically.
- Faster revenue recognition and a stable ARR: With the ability to fund a contract midway with additional currency, Alloy partners recognize revenues early and do not have to wait until contract expiry. Extending a contract midway also enables an Alloy partner to a predictable Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for longer durations.
- Positive customer engagement: Local language support makes it easier for Alloy partners to hire locally to engage with end customers and serve their needs.
Here in the Alloy Product team, we are always listening to our customers feedback to try and provide an excellent experience for them when using our Dedicated Cloud offerings. If you have any feedback or questions, please Reach out to Us – we’d be eager to connect with you!
