Now, North American customers and partners on the west coast have regional access to the entire scope of the Oracle’s cloud services. Improving Access with FastConnect

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect provides dedicated connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other Oracle Cloud services. FastConnect provides a secure, elastic, and economical way to create a dedicated, private connection with higher bandwidth options. FastConnect also provides a more reliable and consistent networking experience as compared to public internet connections. FastConnect is available through FastConnect partners or direct connection. CenturyLink, Equinix, and Megaport have established FastConnect connectivity with the San Jose Cloud Region.

Commercial customers, such as cloud communication platform 8×8 Inc., electronic manufacturer KEMET, and online streaming company Phenix, have used Oracle Cloud’s San Jose data center for its consistent low network latency, significant outbound bandwidth, and large-scale compute services helping customers to deliver exceptional user experience.
