With Oracle Database@Azure, organizations get the power and versatility of running Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) collocated inside Microsoft Azure data centers and operated by Oracle. By connecting the Oracle Database technology with the same high-speed network used to connect other Azure services together, customers gain low-latency connections between their applications and databases running side-by-side in Azure.

Oracle Database@Azure is now generally available in Japan for the first time with the Japan East region. Globally, Oracle Database@Azure is live in 13 Microsoft Azure regions: Australia East, Brazil South, Canada Central, Central US, East US, France Central, Germany West Central, Italy North, Japan East, Southeast Asia, UK South, UK West, and West US. We also plan to make the service available in 19 more regions, including Australia Southeast, Brazil Southeast, Canada East, Central India, East US 2, France South, Japan West, Germany North, North Central US, North Europe, South Central US, South India, Spain Central, Sweden Central, UAE Central, UAE North, West Europe, West US 2, and West US 3.
