Global businesses across every vertical industry are adopting Oracle Database@Azure to accelerate their cloud migration. Oracle Database@Azure allows customers to run mission-critical workloads that use Oracle databases natively in Microsoft Azure. The high levels of performance, availability, security, and cost effectiveness are the reasons global enterprises choose Oracle Database@Azure to run their databases on Microsoft Azure.
Oracle and Microsoft are proud to maintain commitment to compliance, relentlessly enhancing security and trust. To meet the needs of enterprise customers, Oracle Database@Azure has achieved a comprehensive array of industry-leading global certifications, including PCI-DSS, SOC Type 1, SOC Type 2, SOC Type 3, C5, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 27701, CSA STAR and HIPAA. These certificates are available through Oracle and Microsoft.
By meeting the industry standards, Oracle Database@Azure customers can now achieve the following benefits:
The regulatory compliance certifications complement the highly available service that is validated by Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) Gold for mission-critical applications. This high availability is possible because Oracle Database@Azure works with familiar Oracle services like Oracle Zero Downtime Migration, Oracle GoldenGate, and Oracle DataGuard.
These compliance certifications work with all the services offered in Oracle Database@Azure, including the newest offering on the service, Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Database@Azure. With Autonomous Database, application developers gain access to database services at massive scale with the highest performance, security, and availability characteristics. Developers can accelerate app innovation and easily provision an industry-leading data platform and consume Oracle services as if they were natively part of Azure.
In early July 2024, we debuted Oracle Database@Azure in Canada. Customers can now place orders for Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Database@Azure in five regions worldwide: Microsoft Azure Canada Central, East US, France Central, Germany West Central, and UK South.
