Oracle was a platinum sponsor of NATO Edge 2024 in Tampa, Florida, December 3–5. A flagship event of the NATO Communications and Information Agency, NATO Edge 2024 hosted defense and technology industry leaders from all over the world to discuss how the alliance can utilize technology to address current conflicts and prepare for future challenges.
Oracle’s booth welcomed key Oracle partners Anduril and Palantir, who copresented, demonstrating capabilities including command and control (C2) automation and AI-powered data analytics that customers can deploy on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. As a technology leader, Oracle is committed to deploying cloud to every echelon of command, from core to tactical edge.
Oracle’s participation in the event included driving some of the most important technology discussions facing NATO today. Kim Lynch, Oracle EVP for Government Defense and Intelligence, participated in a fireside chat with NATO leadership to discuss the theme of “Partnership with Industry.” Kim’s remarks highlighted the ways public and private sectors can partner to develop and deliver leading edge technology to the defense community, most importantly in the areas of AI and cyber security.
Collaboration between the alliance and key technology providers is crucial for ensuring data interoperability among the NATO alliance, member nations, and regional partners.
