Oracle is pleased to announce the following support policies for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), PeopleSoft, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Enterprise Performance Management, and Oracle Retail Applications using our latest multicloud solutions:
Oracle Applications support mission-critical business functions and organizations often run these applications on-premises or in collocated data centers utilizing various Oracle Database technologies.
Organizations want choice, and nearly all are using two or more clouds today. But most workloads are still on-premises, and many are Oracle Database workloads. Several Oracle partners have customers who are planning to migrate their Oracle Applications to Oracle Database@Azure, Oracle Database@Google Cloud, or Oracle Database@AWS.
A customer's journey to their cloud of choice requires business-critical Oracle applications to be migrated and operated in their preferred cloud environment. This announcement gives customers the choice and flexibility to run Oracle Applications on Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS using Oracle multicloud solutions. Customers can enjoy the assurance of an architecture supported by four of the most trusted names in cloud technologies. Our multicloud collaborative support model is multifaceted with teams dedicated to helping ensure your Oracle Applications and hyperscaler environment are supported. Customers also gain the power of Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Autonomous Recovery Service in the cloud of their choice, providing these Oracle applications the necessary performance, resiliency, scalability, and security.
Oracle has provided a unified experience between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a customer’s preferred hyperscaler enabling simplified database administration, billing, and unified customer support. Customers can purchase Oracle Database@Azure, Oracle Database@Google Cloud, and Oracle Database@AWS directly in the hyperscaler’s marketplace, and these purchases apply to the customer’s existing commercial commitments. Oracle database utilization is also eligible for Oracle Support Rewards (OSR), a program where customers can earn rewards and use them to reduce Oracle technology license support costs.
