AI infrastructure is entering a new phase of scale and complexity. As organizations train larger models and deploy AI globally, they need cloud platforms designed to deliver performance, security, and operational efficiency at massive scale. Built on more than a decade of cloud networking innovation, Oracle Acceleron – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)’s suite of network software and architecture – redefines how data moves in the cloud to deliver a secure infrastructure with the highest performance at a lower cost.

With OCI Zettascale10, Oracle is launching the next generation of AI infrastructure. Powered by the next generation NVIDIA AI platform featuring NVIDIA BlueField-4 data processing units (DPUs), this new cloud offering is designed to scale to 800,000 NVIDIA GPUs across multi-gigawatt clusters. Combined with Oracle Acceleron RoCE networking, it can provide the performance and security foundation required for the most advanced AI workloads.

An Intelligent Cloud Fabric Built for AI

Training at zettascale requires more than just compute power. It demands a high-performance network fabric designed to move data efficiently and securely at scale. Oracle Acceleron was purpose-built for this challenge, delivering low-latency, congestion-aware, and lossless communication across thousands of GPU nodes.

NVIDIA BlueField-4, the next generation DPU supports Oracle Acceleron. BlueField-4 brings a new level of intelligence to the infrastructure by offloading and accelerating essential AI infrastructure services, enabling distributed routing, storage acceleration, and zero-trust security directly in the data path. This allows customers to maximize GPU utilization, reduce overhead on the host, and secure traffic at scale without sacrificing performance.

This milestone is the result of a multi-year co-innovation journey between Oracle and NVIDIA. NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs are already in production today powering OCI’s NVIDIA GPU instances. They have helped deliver predictable performance and secure, efficient operations for enterprise AI workloads. BlueField-4 builds on this proven architecture, enabling Oracle to scale Oracle Acceleron even further with greater performance, richer security capabilities, and more advanced offloads.

Scaling AI Securely and Efficiently

OCI Zettascale10 is designed as the ideal infrastructure to train and deploy the largest AI models with confidence. By combining Oracle Acceleron and NVIDIA BlueField-4, customers can expect:

  • Massive AI scale across hundreds of thousands of GPUs
  • High-performance networking with congestion-aware, lossless transport
  • Distributed routing and storage acceleration for efficient data movement
  • Zero-trust security built directly into the infrastructure
  • Cloud-native offloads that free up valuable GPU and CPU resources

This balanced, programmable platform will enable customers to run large-scale AI training and inference with greater efficiency, stronger security, and lower total cost of ownership.

Powering What’s Next in AI

With BlueField-3 already deployed and BlueField-4 soon to be integrated into OCI Zettascale10, Oracle is once again setting the standard for AI cloud scale. This is not just faster infrastructure — it’s a smarter, more secure foundation for AI. By uniting compute, networking, storage, and security in one programmable fabric, Oracle is giving customers the power to scale AI responsibly and efficiently. The next era of AI will be built on infrastructure like this — and Oracle is proud to lead the way with NVIDIA.
