We’re happy to announce new features to view and manage your cloud subscriptions and billing directly in the Oracle Cloud Console. These features were designed in a close collaboration with a set of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) customers and inspired by their needs to address the key billing use cases. As a result, this new functionality augments our promise to deliver a superior ownership experience that makes cloud billing and usage a more intuitive journey.
Today, we’re unveiling the first set of capabilities to help you effectively manage your cloud subscriptions by providing you with a transparent window to your subscription and billing information in real time. You can follow up on your subscription expenditures, visualize consumption, and understand how each individual service is billed from the order creation to invoicing.
New features
We’re introducing new billing features in OC Console for infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) customers in the following key areas:
-
Subscriptions
-
Invoices
-
Payment history
Subscriptions list all your subscribed services enabled in Oracle Cloud Console.
For IaaS/PaaS subscriptions, you can visualize your Universal Credits usage across different phases of your subscription grouped by year, month, day and hour of the day to analyze your consumption in less than eight hours after your services consumed them. Additionally, you can review the list of available infrastructure services along with their rate cards and review the schedule of your commitment billing.

For SaaS subscriptions, you can view all services that you have contracted with their order history. For Fusion application subscriptions, you can view PDF reports containing your service utilization in production environments to manage your services more efficiently.

Invoices show all past due and pending invoices for all your active subscriptions. You can visualize the detailed information of each invoice to understand your cloud billing related to services and usage. You can also make one-time payments directly in the console for Pay As You Go (PAYG) subscriptions.

Payment history complements invoices to show all paid invoices for your subscriptions.
Key use cases
We have the following main use cases for this expansion:
-
Review infrastructure subscriptions and usage.

-
Review application subscriptions and order history.

-
Review invoices, analyze consumption, and pay online.
