By dramatically reducing the publishing fee for our publishers, we’re confident in seeing more listings across all pricing options, giving choice to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) customers and increasing customer consumption while giving higher margin to our partners.
“From the beginning, the Oracle Cloud Marketplace was designed to be a place for partners of all types to highlight their products.” said Clay Magouyrk, EVP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. “Today, Oracle announces a reduction in the publication fees to create a paid listing on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Effective immediately all partners with paid listings will have a flat rate fee of 3% which will make it easier for partners to deploy their paid solutions to OCI.”
More options for better solutions
OCI customers are turning to the Oracle Cloud Marketplace to complete solutions, consolidate IT spending, and simplify procurement. Paid publisher listings allow customers to use Universal Credits to pay by the hour with no long-term commitments and receive a single, consolidated bill for these independent software vendor (ISV) solutions and OCI resource costs incurred.
The Oracle Cloud Marketplace proudly supports a wide range of third-party ISV solutions to accelerate and optimize cloud and hybrid deployments seamlessly within OCI. “Partners have asked Oracle to make it easier to list their products on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace by making it more cost effective” said David Hicks, VP of Worldwide ISV Ecosystem Business Development. “We have listened and have reduced the publishing fees from 20% down to 3% for Paid publisher listing transactions, which removes a barrier to offering Paid listings and helps partners gain access to the 400,000+ Oracle customers and the 20,000+ Oracle sellers.”
