DigiCert will stop trusting G1 root certificates (including TLS/SSL end-entity certificates) on April 15, 2026, per their announcement. This change may impact connectivity to Oracle Autonomous AI Database Serverless (ADB-S) for customers using mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication.

Essbase on OCI Marketplace deployments that use Oracle Autonomous Database as the Repository Schema (RCU) need to take the following action to ensure Essbase services continue running on the instance.

Required Action

On a machine with access to the public Internet and to the Essbase compute instance / VM, download the wallet patch file, and copy it to /tmp on the Essbase node. Change ownership of the file to the oracle user, stop the Essbase Server, and apply the patch.

The detailed steps are outlined here: Urgent Action Required for Essbase on OCI Marketplace
