This month’s Oracle AI updates bring new models and capabilities to OCI Enterprise AI, including Moonshot AI Kimi K3, expanded Model Import options, availability in Government and Defense cloud regions, and new NL2SQL features. New updates and features:
Moonshot AI Kimi K3 Now Available in OCI Enterprise AI
Moonshot AI Kimi K3 is now available for import in OCI Enterprise AI, giving customers access to a new multimodal model that can work with both image and text inputs. Organizations can use Kimi K3 to build AI applications that understand and reason across visual and textual information, adding another option for multimodal and agentic AI use cases.
Additional Models Added to OCI Enterprise AI Model Import
In addition to Kimi K3, OCI Enterprise AI expanded Model Import with new models from AI Singapore, Mistral, Google, Alibaba, NVIDIA, DeepSeek, Z.ai, Xiaomi, and others. The growing model catalog gives customers more choice to match models to their specific requirements for capability, performance, and cost. New additions include:
- SEA-LION v4 32B IT
- Mistral Magistral Small
- Google Gemma 4 models
- Alibaba Qwen 3.5 and Qwen 3.8 models
- OmniVoice
- NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super
- NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Lightning
- DeepSeek V4 Pro and V4 Flash 0731
- Z.ai GLM 5.2
- Xiaomi MiMo V2.5 Pro

OCI Enterprise AI Expands to Oracle US Government and Defense Clouds
OCI Enterprise AI is now available in the US Gov West (Phoenix) region in Oracle US Government Cloud and the US DoD West (Phoenix) region in Oracle US Defense Cloud, with B300 hardware available for hosting select foundational models. This expansion gives eligible US government and defense organizations access to OCI Enterprise AI capabilities in dedicated Oracle government cloud environments.
New OCI Enterprise AI NL2SQL Capabilities
OCI Enterprise AI NL2SQL now supports model selection, scheduled enrichment, and background SQL generation. Customers can select an available on-demand model for semantic store enrichment or individual SQL-generation requests, schedule recurring metadata refreshes, and run longer SQL-generation requests in the background, giving teams more control over how they use natural language to work with enterprise data.
