Plan Your Move to a Newer LTS Release

While this extension provides additional flexibility, Oracle strongly recommends that customers plan to upgrade to a newer, fully supported release, including Oracle WebLogic Server and Coherence 14.1.2 or 15.1.1.
Both Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.2 and 15.1.1 are Long-Term Support (LTS) releases, giving customers a stable, long-term foundation for their enterprise applications and continued access to regular maintenance updates, including security patches and bug fixes. WebLogic Server 14.1.2 provides eight years of error-correction support (Announcing Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.2), while 15.1.1 extends the long-term support path with ongoing updates and platform certifications (Announcing Oracle WebLogic Server and Coherence 15.1.1).
WebLogic Server 14.1.1 customers also have a supported upgrade path to 14.1.2 or 15.1.1, providing a straightforward path to the latest platform capabilities.
