We're watching the Super Bowl/#SewerBowl with Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
Our friends at WaterWorld say they're some of the most fun out there for water/wasterwater utility social media, and after an obsessive afternoon reading tweets, chuckling and becoming new Josh and Shawn followers, there's no going back. (Besides, who can deny the fabulousness of monster fish tweets and "bring it on" Matrix gifs in response to cold weather? No one. Ever.)

We want to help make San Antonio "waterful."
San Antonio Water System's Twitter feed is full of educational tidbits (what to flush/what not to flush/where to take the stuff you shouldn't flush), community cheerleading (go, go high schoolers, work that confluence conference) and talk of tacos. And we do love, love, love good talk about good tacos.

Our all-time personal fave is Northumbrian Water.
The official account for this water utility in Northeast England, these folks are, by far, some of the savviest, funniest social media people out in the Twitterverse. From weather report videos “live” from their technical library to gorgeous shots of their region’s waterways (and protection efforts) to lists of some of the wildest things they find in pipes (like pjs), they know how to be smart, serious and silly sometimes, too.

We’re at home with San Jose Water.
With a focus on their community, this utility tweets almost exclusively about customer desires, from outages to meet-and-greets. Throw in a yummy recipe or two (that can be made with a little San Jose water), and we’re right a home in this feed.

We want the swag of Yarra Valley Water.
This Australian utility is fabulous at keeping their customers informed daily, but we admit we’re mostly coveting that water bottle we keep seeing pop up in tweets that says “Be Smart. Choose Tap.” (We’re also a fan of the gifs, too.)

We’re in awe of the branding at work with Louisville Water.
They’ve taglined and mega-marketed their H20 as “Louisville Pure Tap,” and this is pure marketing genius—giving the water that comes straight from the faucet love, marketing and a Twitter following to boot.

We also adore Southern Water.
And that love isn’t just because of the iconic snapshots of “the unflushables” in the hero art of their Twitter page. We also enjoy the educational polls, the heartfelt videos and detailed snapshots of daily life inside their UK utility.

We’d like to hang out with Detroit Water and Sewage.
The hero art of this U.S.-based account is a beautiful balance of processes and people—with the people in the foreground. We love that emphasis on the employee family. And the hard work they do is evident from the tagline to the videos shared.

We’re fans of Kuya Pat.
Kuya Pat is Manila Water’s white-gloved mascot who touts the company tagline “care in every drop.” We enjoy watching him celebrate holidays and give advice in English and in Filipino/standardized Tagalog.
