Accelsior is a leading Siebel CRM technical consultancy headquartered in New Jersey, USA. The Siebel implementation team has multiple members who have more than 15 years’ Siebel consulting experience. Collectively the team has completed nearly 40 distinct Siebel upgrade projects end to end.
Most recently, Accelsior has been successfully upgrading customers to Siebel 22+, having completed three such upgrades in 2022. The Siebel team is growing rapidly, and once customers engage with Accelsior for assistance with their Siebel implementation the relationship usually lasts: the team has multiple customers with whom they have worked consistently for several years.

Accelsior’s REST Client for Siebel: the Accelsior REST Client greatly simplifies REST API development in Siebel. A fully featured JSON converter allows bidirectional conversion between XML and JSON, and the advanced HTTP client allows for detailed message logging and error handling.
Accelsior’s Encryption Client for Siebel: a fully featured data encryption module designed for use with integrations that have sensitive payloads. The encryption client supports both symmetric encryption using AES and asymmetric encryption using RSA.

We recently completed a Siebel upgrade for a global Clinical Research Organization in North Carolina from version 8.1.1.5 to version 22.6. The application is heavily customized, and supports 5,000+ users globally. The upgrade was completed by four Accelsior consultants in 26 weeks from kickoff to go live, and included some very complex re-implementations of existing custom functionality. The large jump in version from 8.1.1.5 to 22.6 also posed some technical challenges, but the team successfully completed the upgrade on time.

We have been working with this NASDAQ listed customer over 3 years. We initially performed an upgrade for their Siebel Call Center, Field Service and Sales applications from 8.1.1.10 to 19.11 in 2020. A team of 2 Accelsior resources lead the project, working in conjunction with the in-house Siebel development team. Since the upgrade, Accelsior have further updated these applications to versions 20.6 and most recently to 22.7. The system is complex with 15 integration points to other enterprise systems. In addition to installing updates we have been transitioning the integration points to use REST architecture, as well as deploying Open UI enhancements such as real time credit card validation, allowing call center users to more accurately capture customer payment information.

Accelsior performed the initial installation of the Siebel IP 2015 Clinical application in 2015/2016, and performed an upgrade to Siebel 20.6 in 2020. The upgrade was executed in 5 months from start to finish with a team of only 2 Accelsior team members. As the customer’s business has grown, so has the Siebel application, more than quadrupling the size of the user base, and now integrating with over a dozen other enterprise systems. In addition to upgrading the application, Accelsior has also developed innovative Open UI solutions to save users time, by automating where possible, and employing embedded visualizations and gamifying tasks to improve user accuracy and efficiency.
