Details of the latest Siebel CRM 24.12 Release Update under the Continuous Delivery Model. This Update was GA on 24th December, 2024.
This Update contains the following new features and delivers lots of key bug fixes.
Siebel CRM Event Pub Sub – Enhanced JSON Message Structure for Kafka Integration
This enhancement simplifies the Kafka integration with a JSON message structure sent from Siebel CRM using Runtime Events (RTE). The new structure format is more user-friendly and will provide the following benefits:
- Intuitive message structure for easier integration
- Improved readability
- Aligned with industry-standard JSON for business entities such as Account, Contacts, and so on.
- Easier processing of messages
Also, in both the cases of RTE and Custom Business Service script usage, single instances of child entities (Business Components) will be array members instead of being a JSON object in the payload posted to Kafka from Siebel CRM.
