Overview

Wiz was designed from the start to help developers and architects to secure everything they build in the cloud. The Wiz agentless approach rapidly scans your entire cloud and prioritizes critical risks so security and development teams can proactively harden your cloud.

Wiz offers two options for deployment

Standard Wiz uses several techniques to scan your entire cloud environment without a single agent or sidecar deployed on your workloads. This assures that you can get Wiz up and running across your environment in minutes without suffering from the coverage gaps that the limited deployment of agents typically cause. The complete installation guide is managed and regularly updated on the Wiz documentation page.
 
Wiz Outpost for OCI performs workload scanning within your designated OCI tenancy, privately and securely without providing external permissions to your system volumes. With this deployment, data does not leave your cloud boundary, only the security metadata such as findings, vulnerabilities, etc. which are then analyzed and displayed in the Wiz portal. Wiz Outpost is best suited for companies in highly regulated industries that are obligated to ensure that third-parties never have access to their data.
