From barcode medication administration to specimen labeling and document capture, endpoint devices are deeply integrated into healthcare workflows. When those devices do not function as expected, clinical and operational teams can experience delays, additional troubleshooting, and workflow disruption.

Oracle Health Endpoint Validation helps device manufacturers evaluate eligible endpoint devices for use with Oracle Health Millennium applications.

The program supports functional validation of commonly deployed healthcare endpoint devices, including:

  • Printers
  • Barcode scanners
  • Document scanners

Devices that successfully complete validation may be added to the Validated Endpoints List (VEL), helping Oracle Health clients identify endpoint devices that have been evaluated for use within defined Millennium workflows. The Validated Endpoints List serves as a centralized reference for endpoint devices that have completed Oracle Health validation.

How It Works

  1. Device manufacturers enroll in the enhanced Oracle PartnerNetwork at Level 1 or higher and join the Industry Healthcare Path.
  2. The manufacturer submits the device for qualification and feasibility review.
  3. Oracle Health determines whether the device requires full validation or qualifies for a streamlined pathway, such as a model add-on evaluation.
  4. Oracle Health provides the applicable validation scope and order documentation with quote for validation.
  5. Once the order is processed, Oracle Health schedules the validation effort.
  6. Oracle Health evaluates the endpoint device against defined validation criteria and workflow requirements.
  7. Devices that successfully complete validation are added to the Validated Endpoints List.
  8. Partners can advertise the validated devices in Oracle PartnerNetwork Marketplace as well as use an official validation badge for their own marketing purposes of those validated products.

Why It Matters

Endpoint devices may not always get the spotlight, but they are essential to healthcare operations.

A label that prints correctly.
A barcode scanner that supports medication workflows.
A document scanner that captures the right content into the right application.
A printer that works reliably within Millennium print workflows.

These are the everyday details that keep healthcare teams moving.

Oracle Health Endpoint Validation helps manufacturers and Oracle Health work together so clients have a clearer understanding of which endpoint devices have been evaluated for use with Millennium applications.

Because when endpoint devices function as expected, workflows run smoother, support teams have clearer guidance, and healthcare teams can stay focused on patient care.

Program Benefits

Greater confidence in endpoint selection
Healthcare organizations can reference devices that have completed Oracle Health’s validation process on the Validated Endpoints List.

Improved support alignment
Millennium support teams support devices included on the Validated Endpoints List. Devices not validated through the Endpoint Validation Program fall outside supported configurations.

Defined manufacturer engagement
Manufacturers have a structured process for submitting eligible endpoint devices for evaluation and validation.

Reduced deployment uncertainty
Validated endpoints help reduce ambiguity when selecting printers, barcode scanners, and document scanners for use within Oracle Health environments.
