The Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer team is excited to announce the general availability of the first paid (license included) Oracle Marketplace Images explicitly for the Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer platform. These new listings allow you to create compute instances that include entitlement and support to run Oracle software using Oracle’s Universal Credit Model (UCM). The compute instances created with these listings are billed per OCPU per hour. Infrastructure services, such as compute, memory and storage, are billed independently.

Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer Marketplace is only available on Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer infrastructures. The marketplace images are very similar to platform images in that all users in the tenancy can access them.

The new listings available on Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer Marketplace are as follows:

  • Oracle WebLogic Server Enterprise Edition UCM Image – Includes entitlement and support for all the features included in the Oracle WebLogic Server Enterprise Edition license such as clustering, integration with external databases, and management through the Administration console, WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST), and Oracle WebLogic Server REST Management APIs.

  • Oracle WebLogic Suite UCM Image – Includes entitlement and support for all the features included in the Oracle WebLogic Suite license such as Coherence EE, Forms, Active GridLink for RAC, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Single Sign-On, Oracle Portal, Oracle Web Cache, Oracle Directory Integration Platform and all the features included in Oracle WebLogic Server Enterprise Edition.

Note: For more information about features included in WebLogic Server licenses visit the FMW Licensing Information User Manual.
