Maria Colgan is the VP of Product Management for AI and mission-critical data on the Oracle Database team, which she has been a part of since 1996.  She is what some people would call a database nerd and has spent her entire career deeply involved with enhancing the performance of databases and applications.  In her current role, she is responsible for the product management of the database AI engines, Advanced Compression, Database In-Memory, and mission-critical data.
