Over the last 28+ years, Java continues to be the world’s most popular programming language among developers. Java’s ubiquitous presence across organizations of all sizes stems from its hallmark attributes of platform independence, predictable stability, performance, a massively vibrant global ecosystem, and the continued technical leadership and community stewardship by Oracle.

As the world of modern application development rapidly evolves, Java continues to adapt to keep pace. This affords enterprises the ability to accelerate mission-critical application development reliant on Java and provides developers a programming language and platform that efficiently & effectively address app dev from on-prem to the Cloud.

Openness and transparency of development are the hallmarks of Java, and under the OpenJDK Project Oracle’s Java team continues to lead engineering efforts through important technical projects such as Amber, Loom, Panama and Valhalla. The innovation and features derived from these projects (and other projects) exude confidence that the modernization of Java is secure and well-aligned with the needs of the fast-evolving global IT landscape.

Additionally, Oracle is committed to delivering enterprise-grade value beyond the Java language and platform. The commercial innovation Oracle continues to deliver allows businesses to easily maintain existing on-prem Java applications, modernize legacy Java apps running on-prem or in the cloud, and create new Java solutions suited for hybrid deployment environments.

To showcase all of this, at the second annual Oracle CloudWorld conference in Las Vegas, Oracle’s Java team is bringing a rich mix of content that decision-makers can count on to drive their enterprises forward, as well as technical highlights that developers can immediately embrace to build the set of next-gen applications.

Also at CloudWorld, Oracle’s Java team will celebrate the arrival of Java 21 on September 19th. This long-awaited release continues to demonstrate Oracle’s commitment of introducing new stable and production-ready versions as part of Java’s well-established six-month release cadence. Along with material highlighting many of the new features in Java 21, attendees will experience Java content showcasing cloud alignment and enterprise enablement. Beyond the content, we’d like to welcome attendees to the CloudWorld exhibition floor to meet and connect with leaders from Oracle’s Java organization who will be available in Developer Showcase demogrounds.

Now is the time to register! (Click Here)

While we’re anticipating your arrival at CloudWorld this year, you can stay connected offline by visiting Dev.java, Oracle’s official Java portal.

We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas (Sept 18-21), and to get a head-start we’re offering you an outline of Java content that you can sign up for after completing your registration.

Safe travels!
