Intelligent Advisor Release 23D (12.2.33) is now available for public cloud and private cloud (on-premise) customers.

Be sure to also review the features added to 23C since our last post.

Decision service usage report (Monthly Update 2)

You can now see which projects and deployments are using a deployed decision service by generating a References Report from Intelligent Advisor Hub. You can also get this report as a JSON array via the Deployments REST API. Having this information enables you to:

  • confidently change decision services knowing which projects will be impacted
  • automate downstream project lifecycle and testing tasks triggered by decision services changes

Improved historical information for web-authored projects (Monthly Update 2)

There is now a version history panel that shows all historical web-authored project versions including commit comments. Managers can edit any existing comment for a web-authored project version. This ensures an accurate history for web-authored project versions can be maintained when the original comments were incorrect.

Enhancements to tool for migrating Policy Modeling projects to web-authored projects (Monthly Update 2)

The Intelligent Advisor Node.js migrator tool has been enhanced so that you can now:

  • migrate the screens contained in an Oracle Policy Modeling project into an Intelligent Advisor flow project (the ability to migrate rules was already available)
  • migrate an Oracle Policy Modeling project into an Intelligent Advisor decision service project

Data tab added to decision service authoring user interface (Monthly Update 1)

When editing a decision service, there is now an additional tab on the left tab panel which displays the data model view.

Authenticate interview extension connections using access tokens from authorization providers (Monthly Update 1)

Identity Cloud Service access tokens obtained for interviews which are in secured workspaces can now be used in interview extension connections. Requests to the interview extension endpoint can include the access token in the authorization header to make authorized requests on behalf of the logged in user, such as verifying the user to call secure REST APIs.

Configurable question position for Redwood theme interviews

You can now have the question text shown above inputs in Redwood styled interviews. This is a good option for longer question text which would otherwise get truncated if the question text is shown inside the input box (the default position).

Decision service references to parent data

References to attributes and relationships in the parent container chain are now allowed for decision service inputs. This alleviates the need to create additional rules to move values into entity level attributes.
