Oracle has embarked on a major initiative to embed AI-powered features across Fusion Applications. That includes the new Oracle AI Agent Studio, the development platform for AI agents in Fusion Apps that helps you automate your business. A new demo video showcases how AI Agent Studio makes it easy for you to get started, tailor agents to meet unique business needs, and control how agents are deployed and operate.

The demo follows Marie, an Oracle Fusion Sales systems administrator at a generator company. Marie needs to support the rollout of a new subscription-based service that will expand her company’s offerings beyond one-time sales. She uses AI Agent Studio to build a team of agents that help salespeople create quotes that properly position new subscription services.

What it shows

The demo begins as Marie chooses the Sales Quote Generator option from among hundreds of available agent templates. The template provides a foundation for her agent team, including a supervisor agent (Sales Quote Generator Advisor) and three worker agents: Sales Quote Data Collector Agent, Sales Quote Options Agent, and Sales Quote Presenter Agent.

The demo then shows how easy it is for Marie to customize the solution so it prioritizes subscription options in the quote process. It also shows the platform’s extensive testing capabilities, including the ability to audit and preview results. Marie can clearly see how the supervisor agent interacts with worker agents to gather account and product data, generate multiple offers, and format the quote for clarity. After confirming the agents’ performance, Marie publishes her customized version of the Sales Quote Generator.

Why it matters

The demo emphasizes important aspects of AI Agent Studio.

  1. Templates: The demo shows prebuilt agent templates that enable Marie to quickly get started. These exist across ERP, HCM, CX, and SCM. The demo also shows the platform’s capacity to deliver agent teams, with clearly laid out supervisor and worker agents that allow for efficient task delegation and coordination.
  2. Customization: You can see how the user experience makes it simple for Marie to tailor AI agents to meet very specific functional requirements. For example, changing prompts only takes a few seconds. And although not detailed in in this demo, it is just as easy to change other agent characteristics including designating which LLM or tool to use, introducing human oversight at specific steps, and tying into third-party integrations.
  3. Testing: AI Agent Studio provides for rigorous testing, even during the configuration phase.

In addition, users have fine-grained controls over agents’ behaviors and where/how they get published (not shown).

Summing up

AI Agent Studio is an important part of Oracle’s AI strategy for Fusion Apps. As seen from the perspective of an Oracle Sales systems admin, the development environment can help you automate more of your business. AI Agent Studio makes it easy to get started tailoring agents using simple, Fusion-native tools, and it keeps users in control of agent behaviors.
