AI is transforming enterprise applications, moving beyond simple transaction automation to create autonomous, intelligent workflows that transform operations, improve decision making, and help people achieve more. Oracle is investing aggressively in AI, embedding it directly in Fusion Apps and expanding capabilities with every release. We’re also delivering a development platform, Oracle AI Agent Studio, to help you build and customize AI agents of your own.

You choose—embedded or customized

We’re giving you access to AI agents in Fusion Apps in two ways, embedded agents and customized agents:

  • Embedded AI agents: Every quarter, we’re delivering more AI agents as an integral part of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, CX, and SCM. These are not separate products or modules, but rather added capabilities. Agents are available as part of your subscription, and you can enable them as part of your regular, quarterly updates.
  • Customized AI agents: Available as of Release 25C, Oracle AI Agent Studio is a Fusion-native development platform that helps customers and partners configure and deploy agents. It provides agent templates, a no-code development environment, and integration with Fusion Apps and third-party tools. It also includes Fusion Apps’ security framework, testing, and validation. For organizations with advanced needs, AI Agent Studio can also be used to create and deploy fully custom AI agents. This includes support for multimodal models (image, audio, video) and integration with your choice of AI models, including OpenAI. AI Agent Studio comes as part of your Fusion Apps subscription, but custom agents that use non-standard models may incur predictable utilization costs.

Setting you up for long-term success

AI agents may seem like a novelty now, but we are confident they’ll be an integral part of your enterprise’s technology portfolio. That means foundational principles of enterprise computing must apply—i.e., agents should be deployed for long-term, cost-efficient, and secure service. As such, our AI agents are delivered for optimal:

  • Data integrity: When AI agents access data from transactional enterprise systems, they get the context needed to generate accurate results and automate more complex, multi-step processes. Conversely, without access to data from systems of record, AI agents are limited in scope, are more likely to create incomplete or irrelevant outputs, and fail to deliver on their potential. Embedded AI agents and agents configured using AI Agent Studio include built-in access to Fusion Apps via native APIs, deep links, and business objects. This enables agents to get a holistic, up-to-date view across finance, supply chain, HR, customer experience, and more.
  • Privacy and security: AI agents in Fusion Apps inherit the data protection and identity management that are already in place for end user and administrator access. Agents are subject to the Fusion Apps security framework, which provides single-sign-on, role-based access controls; data security; and audit and logging. This helps to limit downside risk and unwelcome surprises during audits.
  • Cost of ownership: Oracle AI in Fusion Apps offers a low total cost of ownership. Our approach to deploying and managing AI agents eliminates complex, time-consuming, and costly integrations. Further, we don’t charge additional subscription fees for embedded agents or AI Agent Studio, providing you with a predictable, cost-efficient way of deploying agents across the enterprise. It is also worth noting that embedded agents and AI Agent Studio don’t require additional acquisition costs, since they need not go through separate procurement or security review cycles.

Summing up

In some respects, the future is here. AI agents are already part of Fusion Apps, bringing new levels of efficiency and automation. But this is only the beginning. We’re adding even more capable agents to enable complex workflows in Fusion Apps while giving you the tools to configure or create agents of your own with a Fusion-native development platform.
