This article summarizes the updated procedures we have made available for you to use in migrating your Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2 with Oracle Database 19c on-premises environment to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) on supported database cloud services, for certified commercial and government cloud realms.
After the migration process is complete, you will be on the 19.24 Oracle Database RU.
What’s Been Revised?
The updated procedures are provided for use with the following database services on supported commercial and government cloud realms:
- Oracle Base Database Service DB Systems
- Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure

Keep Your Database Current
Once you have migrated to OCI, you should aim to stay up to date by applying each quarterly database RU and the corresponding EBS database consolidated patches as soon as possible. This will help you avoid security, functional, and performance issues for which fixes are already available.
