We’re pleased to announce that Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2 is now certified for deployment on Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure with both Oracle AI Database 26ai and Oracle Database 19c. This milestone enables you to leverage the next generation of high-performance infrastructure for your mission critical EBS workloads.

Exascale is the underlying technology that serves as the foundation for Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure, the next generation architecture of Oracle Exadata. Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure brings you much of the high-end performance and advanced features of Exadata Dedicated, but without the higher entry costs. With flexible, cloud-based pricing, more EBS organizations can now tap into Exadata’s benefits—like super-fast processors, huge memory, and high I/O throughput—for an even wider range of use cases.

While Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure supports both Oracle AI Database 26ai and Oracle Database 19c, the Exascale implementation is different: Oracle AI Database 26ai leverages the Exascale smart storage architecture, while Oracle Database 19c uses the Exascale block storage architecture.
