Oracle Digital Assistant release 22.06 – June 2022
ODA 22.06 continues to improve developer experience by adding new productivity features to the Visual Flow Designer. You will also be able to migrate your existing skills to Visual Flow Designer. There’s a new declarative service for defining and invoking REST services. There are also enhancements to Knowledge Documents, as well as the ability to incorporate Data Manufacturing in your Retrainer workflow.
Migrate to Visual Flow Designer
With release 22.06 you can switch to using the Visual Designer for your existing skills.
The migrator creates a new version of your skill which allows you to edit your dialog flow using the Visual Flow Designer instead of editing the OBotML YAML file.
Access Backends Using the new REST Service Component
The new REST System Component and associated Resource definition enables the details of external REST services to be defined & secured centrally, allowing you to easily integrate the service into your conversation flow. All without the need to develop a JavaScript Custom Component.
Instead of assigning utterances to intents yourself, you can crowd source this task by creating Intent Annotation and Intent Validation Data Manufacturing jobs. You don't need to compile the conversation logs into a CSV to create these jobs, you create them directly from the Insights Retrainer tab.
