Oracle Digital Assistant supports different types of entities that are extracted from user input by the NLP (natural language processing) engine. Value list is a popular type in which you define a list of values and synonyms to be extracted from user input. In Oracle Digital Assistant, value list entities can be defined as static or dynamic values. Value list entities, however, can be used to create list of values for a bot user to select from. In this article I explain two solutions for building such a list and how you can use common synonyms to turn lists into smart filtered lists.
