Heads up so you don't miss!
Writing a good chatbot is easy as all you need to do is send a few messages back and forth between a user and the artificial intelligence. At least that's how you would imagine it.
The reality is different. One of the biggest and first hurdles in designing chatbots is "conversation". For us humans, conversation feels so natural that we can hardly say how it works. But that's exactly what you have to teach a chatbot to do through design and model training.
In order not to start from scratch when it comes to chatbot conversation design and the subsequent implementation, it could be a good and quick help, like earlier in school, to observe and copy those who know what they are doing.
Oracle's Grant Ronald will speak at the first Conversation Design Summit on March 1-2, 2021. In his session, he will share his tips and tricks from working on over 100 chatbot implementations, including setting project goals and best practices, insights on conversation design, intent design and writing utterances, and testing real bots.
Grant would probably be the boy at school you'd want to copy off. Now is your chance.
