“CIOs are faced with trying to bring all of their data together for AI and analytic applications. Moving all of their data to a cloud platform would be a massive, time consuming, and error-prone effort, especially given the changeable nature of the data. A better option is to build a lakehouse, but this still requires spending time searching through potentially hundreds of data sources to find the right data; data that needs to be classified and accessible. Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse addresses this challenge with an innovative solution. It combines Oracle Autonomous AI Database with Apache Iceberg, giving users data deployment flexibility with access to any Iceberg table anywhere. But what about the classification challenge? Here is the big news on that front: it adds a catalog of catalogs that unifies enterprise data and metadata from other catalogs and platforms to simplify data discovery and access across multiple data platforms and clouds. Best of all, Autonomous AI Lakehouse is available on all hyperscalers—AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI—wherever customers’ data resides—bringing the data lakehouse to the data.”
