Oracle GoldenGate product team is pleased to announce the general availability of GoldenGate for Distributed Applications and Analytics 23.6 which introduces new connections, enhancements and fixes.

New Connections:

  1. Lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric connection enables users to ingest parquet and avro_ocf formats into Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse.
  2. Mirrored Database in Microsoft Fabric: Mirrored Database in Microsoft Fabric connection enables users to write change data directly into a Mirrored Database in Microsoft Fabric. Refer to release blog for more details.
  3. AWS DocumentDB: MongoDB handler can be used to ingest documents into target AWS Document environments.

New Features and Enhancements:

  1. SHOWSYNTAX parameter is now available for all stage and merge targets to provide more enhanced trouble shooting.
  2. OCI Resource Principal is now supported for OCI Object Storage and OCI NoSQL.
  3. Vector data type is now supported with Snowflake delivery and avro formatter.
  4. JMS handler now supports auto creation of queues.
  5. JSON Mongo Document Formatter formats the MongoDB Capture processed documents into a JSON format with only payload information.

Patch for GoldenGate for Distributed Application and Analytics 23.6 is available in support.oracle.com. Please search for patch number 37108354.
