Oracle Database 21c is now available for development and deployment on additional Linux platforms including Exadata. This latest release of Oracle Database 21c (21.3) is an Innovation release designed to help customers innovate faster with new and enhanced functionality for operational and analytical use cases that could benefit accordingly. New features in Oracle Database 21c include Blockchain Tables, Native JSON Datatype, SQL Macros, Oracle Machine Learning for Python, and in-database JavaScript execution. Customers should be aware that Innovation Releases have shorter support windows than Long Term Releases such as Oracle Database 19c. Customers adopting Innovation Releases should be prepared to upgrade to the next database release within one year after the next database release ships. Oracle Database 21c can be downloaded from here on oracle.com, or via the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud.
