Weiyi Sun, Ph.D., MBA, is the Director of Applied Science team within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's (OCI) Science organization. Her team is dedicated to creating an extensive GenAI Agent Platform that empowers enterprise customers to automate business workflows at ease. Before joining Oracle, Weiyi was the Head of Machine Learning for Search, Recommendation, and Content Personalization at Wayfair, where she drove AI-driven improvements across all geographies and brands and delivered US$800+ million in incremental revenue. Prior to that, she led a clinical NLP research team at Nuance Communications Inc., delivering cutting-edge machine learning solutions for the healthcare industry.
