Weiwei Gong
Senior Director of Development
Weiwei Gong is senior director of development at Oracle. With a passion for hardware-software co-design, Weiwei leads a team that builds the performance-critical features of database engines designed for analysis, distributed processing, and AI workloads. Her expertise is reflected in her numerous publications and more than 10 patents spanning various aspects of high-performance databases. She earned her master’s degree from Renmin University of China and her PhD from UMass Boston, both in computer science.
