As an Executive Director, Industry Advisor at Oracle, Sue leverages her deep healthcare business acumen in industry trends, regulations, and overall market indicators to collaborate with customers on identifying digital transformation opportunities.  She provides thought leadership and sector relevant messaging to drive outcomes that are powered by Oracle’s industry-leading cloud applications portfolio.  Her expertise across value chains in the Healthcare Provider and Payer environments includes those core processes that connect data and drive transformation throughout clinical, financial, supply chain, member/patient systems, and operations.    Sue’s 30+ years of executive-level leadership experience across the Healthcare arena is manifested in a proven track record of identifying/driving strategic initiatives, leading teams, and achieving high-performance results.  Her breadth of knowledge includes product vision & design, business development, organizational change management/process improvement, revenue cycle management, large-scale systems implementation and support, client management and advocacy, financial reporting, and analytics.    Prior to joining Oracle, Sue served as SVP, of Financial Solutions, at NextGen Healthcare where she led the strategy and solutions teams in NextGen’s financial product portfolio. In this role, she was a trusted advisor to strategic C-level clients throughout healthcare, developing and executing strategic plans for growth, physician adoption, and competitive market advantage. Before her nine years at NextGen, Sue was Director of the Central Business Office at BJC Medical Group in St Louis, where she managed revenue cycle operations for 125 primary care and specialty practices; directed and supported the system-wide implementation and use of the Group’s practice management/EHR system. Sue’s career also included stops at Physician Data Management (as Chief Operating Officer), CRG Computer Services, and Deaconess Hospital.
