Nick Jackson is Vice President of Solution Engineering for Japan and Asia Pacific. He functionally leads Solution Engineering for the Japan and Asia Pacific division. Nick works with Solution Engineering Leaders across Applications, Technology and Systems to accelerate Oracle’s pivot to the Cloud. He also directly manages the Solution Engineering Hubs, which are part of the SE eco-system and the Architecture and Industry Strategy teams who advise customers how they can deliver business value quickly by unlocking the power of Oracle’s complete range of services across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and industry solutions. Prior to this role, Nick has held senior management positions in Consulting, A&C, Business Development, Business Operations and Solution Engineering across the UK and EMEA during his 30+year career within Oracle. His forte is change management, and he is passionate about collaboration, customer excellence and developing careers within Oracle. Originally Nick trained as an accountant before ‘seeing the light’ and moving into the IT industry.
