Marianne Liu is an accomplished AI scientist, researcher, and mentor. She currently serves as a Principal Applied Scientist and Tech Lead at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), where she builds advanced Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions - with a focus on Code Generation, Synthetic Data Generation and LLM Evaluation. Over her five years at Oracle, Marianne has led key initiatives in LLM-driven reasoning and evaluation systems, Code Generation, and synthetic data generation across text, audio, and vision, as well as anomaly detection. As part of OCI’s Data and AI team, she drives the design and deployment of enterprise-grade, trustworthy AI frameworks that bridge cutting-edge research with real-world product impact. Before joining Oracle, Marianne was a Senior Data Scientist at IBM, developing scalable AI and analytics solutions to help enterprise clients harness data for business transformation. She holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Management from Fudan University.
