Karthik is a technology leader who drives innovation in AI/ML, database services, and cloud technologies,. He currently serves as Vice President in the Oracle AI Database team, leading the program office for AI initiatives in databases. Previously, he was General Manager for AIOps and Governance at AWS, where he led the launch of several generative AI capabilities in Amazon SageMaker AI. A recognized thought leader, Karthik has been featured in a Harvard Business School case study on machine learning and frequently speaks at major technology conferences. His expertise spans product development, engineering, strategic partnerships, and business growth. Karthik authored a book on middleware and holds several patents in utility computing, low-code development, and database services. He holds an MBA and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
