Iman Zadeh
Director of Applied Science (Responsible AI)
Dr. Iman Zadeh is Director of Applied Science at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), where he leads Responsible AI initiatives focused on AI safety, governance, guardrails, red teaming, and trustworthy foundation models. Prior to Oracle, he led advanced AI research programs at HRL Laboratories spanning autonomous systems, drones, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and human-machine teaming. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering, completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Computational Neuroscience at UC Davis, and later served as a Research Fellow at UCLA, where he contributed to a major NIMH-funded research program and taught courses in neuro-signal processing and computational neuroscience. Dr. Zadeh has authored more than 70 publications, filed over 50 U.S. patents, received over 1,300 citations, and delivered invited talks across academia, industry, and government.
