Software Development Manager
Filipe Silva is the Software Developement Manager for MySQL Connector/J and MySQL Connector/NET. He is responsible for driving the development of the Database APIs and X DevAPI programming interfaces for both connectors. Filipe joined Oracle in March 2013 and since then he has been working with MySQL Connector/J, from product maintenance to development of new features, fine tuning processes and leading to product quality. More recently he took MySQL Connector/NET under his wing as well. With two Licentiate Degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Education, a Post-graduation in Multimedia Technologies and over 20 years of working experience in the software development industry and education sector, Filipe is strongly focused in delivering high end products.
