Sai Ashish Somayajula
Senior Applied Scientist
Sai Ashish Somayajula is a Senior Applied Scientist in Generative AI at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, where he focuses on optimizing frontier models for enterprise-scale applications. He earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. His research has appeared in premier venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, TACL, NAACL, Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), and TMLR. He is a recipient of the Jacobs School of Engineering Departmental Fellowship at UC San Diego and holds a Master’s in Intelligent Systems and Robotics. Ashish received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from IIT Hyderabad, where he was twice awarded the Academic Excellence Award.
