Abhishek Singh is a Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team for Oracle Autonomous AI Database, with over 15 years of software engineering experience. His work spans infrastructure engineering, open source database integration, and Python tooling for data and database systems. He is passionate about open source, Python, and data systems, with a particular focus on high-performance data access. At Oracle, he leads initiatives including the adb-free Docker image, python-select-ai, a Select AI SDK for Python developers, and dbt-oracle, the open source Oracle adapter for dbt, which supports transformation workflows. He also contributes to Apache Nanoarrow and Oracle’s open source Python driver for Oracle Database, where he spearheaded the implementation of Apache Arrow-based fetch APIs for high-performance, zero-copy DataFrame retrieval.
