We are continually striving to improve the developer experience in Oracle APEX.  As part of APEX 20.2, we initiated a broad effort to simplify the Page Designer experience, reduce complexity and clutter, and make it as easy as possible for everyone to build with APEX.

Beginning in APEX 20.2, we have changed how you edit a region’s Attributes and Printing properties.  In APEX 20.1 and earlier, these properties were available to edit by selecting the relevant region’s sub-node in the Rendering Tree on the left of the page, then the Property Editor would display the properties for the current selection.

In APEX 20.2, in an effort to simplify the editing experience, you will no longer see the Attributes and Printing sub-nodes in the tree, instead you simply select the region, and then the Attributes and Printing (if appropriate) tabs will appear in the Property Editor next to the region’s main properties.
