There are many use cases where other networks need to access services deployed on top of your Kubernetes (K8s) cluster. From the K8s API endpoint, it would be useful to have it as secure as possible; however, we also occasionally need it to be accessible from the internet—and that can make it vulnerable. We need to be more efficient in protecting both the cluster access and the services that run on top of it.
