Note: something is wrong with the doc pages at the time of posting. For the 3 docs above, if you see them dated January 2009 they are still the old 10.1.3.4.0 versions. The 10.1.3.4.1 versions are dated April 2009. I am working with the doc team to get this resolved.

Comments:

Hi, I am having a problem with BI Publisher in Weblogic. :( I created some reports using subtemplates in an external file as described by Tim Dexter in http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2006/04/more_subtemplates.html and they work just fine when I run them in OC4J in several customers. In a particular customer I need to deploy the reports into a Weblogic 10.3 I have successfuly deploied the BI Publisher into Weblogic and all demo reports are working ok. My reports crash unless I remove the subtemplates.:( The Weblogic is working as a service in a Windows 2k3 SP2 and I had to add log4j-1.2.8.jar and ojpse.jar to the classpath. What am I missing? Thanks in advance Paulo Domingues

Hi again, I realized I missed providing some information. I am using BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 in a Weblogic 10.3 If I ask for a CSV or a XML Data file I works without any problem. If I ask for any kind of formated report (PDF, HTML, Excel, RTF, PowerPoint, MHTML) I get errors like this one taken from Weblogic log file: [062309_113443141][oracle.apps.xdo.common.xml.XSLTWrapper][ERROR] XSL error: : XML-22002: (Fatal Error) Error while processing include XSL file (rtf2xsl://file_///C:\Oracle\BIPub\xmlp\XMLP\Reports\SisVendas\headers\PTHeadersTemplate.rtf?sid=1&eaf=3). : XML-22029: (Warning) Cannot transform child 'fo:inline' in 'xsl:call-template'. : XML-22029: (Warning) Cannot transform child 'fo:inline' in 'xsl:call-template'. : XML-22000: (Error) Error while parsing XSL file (null). [062309_113443141][oracle.apps.xdo.template.FOProcessor][ERROR] End Memory: max=1024MB, total=512MB, free=177MB [062309_113443312][][EXCEPTION] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:597) at oracle.apps.xdo.common.xml.XSLT10gR1.invokeNewXSLStylesheet(Unknown Source) at oracle.apps.xdo.common.xml.XSLT10gR1.transform(Unknown Source) ... the XML-22??? errors also appear in OC4J but all reports run ok. I have an instruction and with 2 or 3 parameters depending on the report and with 1 parameter. If necessary, I can provide one of my reports Thanks in advance Paulo Domingues

Hi All, I installed Oracle BI Publisher 10.3.4.1. While login into BI Publisher. I am getting the below error. "Error while trying to access Report Server Location. Illegal characters in path. Report Server Location: sstsvr" Please guide me in this situtation. Thanks & Regards, Prakash Chandran

Prakash -- I am guessing that you did a manual installation and deployment of BI Publisher. Did you follow the steps in ... Configuring the BI Publisher Repository ...? and edit .../WEB-INF/xmlp-server-config.xml to point to the repository?
