Leadership Insights from Women at Oracle

Girls Gone Wild!?

Guest Author

Today, I opened up the print edition of my local paper to a front page headline that read: "Girls Gone Wild."
(The online version has a more subdued title - "Women Get Schooled on the Great Outdoors")

Of course, whenever there's an interesting local story about women in our community, there's usually a local Sun employee involved (as noted in previous entries here and here on this blog!)

This time, it's Colleen Nicastro - one of the co-leaders of our local Women's network at Sun in the Boston area.

She was part of a group of NH women who participated this past weekend in a national winter workshop called 'Becoming an Outdoors -Woman'. In NH, this took place at Squam Lake (Better known outside of NH as 'Golden Pond') .

Colleen participated in the icefishing seminar (even though she really wanted to take the snowshoe workshop!)

You can read what she had to say about her icefishing experience here OR get the real scoop from her IN PERSON during the networking reception at the Sun sponsored WITI event on March 8 at Sun's Burlington, MA campus -- there are still a few seats open for this event, so register today!
